This Sauvignon Blanc is from Marlborough, New Zealand and when I think of New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, I think of a dry grassy wine with a hint of grapefruit.
The Bel Echo definitely fits along that line of a classic Malborough, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! The color of the wine is pale greenish yellow. On the nose, you can denote hints of grapefruit, lemon, and mineral. On the palate, you can taste what you smell, with a light hint of grass. The texture is creamy and finishes smooth. As the wine breathes, the minerals and grass flavors mellows out.
